Scire De Jure (pronounced sy-ray da-jooray), formerly known as E. O'Kelley Sports Entertainment & Business Law Firm, is led by Principal Attorney Ellakisha S. O'Kelley. Attorney O'Kelley evolved the law firm's name to directly reflect her intentions in providing legal services to her clientele. Scire De Jure, means "to know by a rightful claim." Hence, Scire De Jure Legal empowers clients with legal knowledge about their rightful claims in business transactions in the areas of Sports, Contracts, Intellectual property, Realty, and Entertainment.
In addition to being a former professional track athlete and former certified NFL Contract Advisor, Attorney O'Kelley has been consulting athletes and entertainers on contractual and business decisions for a combined 15 years. Furthermore, she has formed several entities and holding companies as an incorporator, for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. In addition to being a real estate attorney, she is a licensed Realtor® partnered with Norman & Associates to provide luxury experiences in buying, selling, commercial, and relocation services.
Ellakisha is a graduate of Atlanta John Marshall Law School. She obtained her undergrad degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina; and a Master's degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from American Intercontinental University in Dunwoody, GA. She graduated with honors in both programs and was inducted into the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society, and Delta Phi Beta Honor Society, respectfully.
Ellakisha was inducted into the hall of fame at her former high school, Albany High (Albany NY), in 2014 for her impeccable representation of, and significant contributions to, athletes, the community, and the city.
She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Cobb County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Georgia Association of Women Lawyers (GAWL), and Women in Film and Television (WIFTA).
